It’s been an incredible ride since early 2023. What started as a shared love for the outdoors in the heart of the Elgin Valley has grown into a thriving community of adrenaline seekers and nature lovers.
Here is a look back at the road we’ve traveled together.
The “Discovery” Phase: Early 2023 saw the trails buzzing with new faces. From the first groups navigating the technical climbs to the Enduro riders testing their limits on our loops, the feedback was clear: the terrain was tough, but the vibe was unmatched.
More Than Just a Trail: We didn’t just host riders; we hosted events, social gatherings, and fundraising
Conservation & Partnership: This year marked a major step forward in our commitment to the land. It wasn’t just about riding the trails; it was about protecting them. **Massive thank you to DAN FORSYTH for his time and efforts by securing the permits.*
The “Pathfinders” Era: An incredible highlight was the Pathfinders event organised by Trax and Trails, spearheaded by Dan Forsyth & Brendon Bircher.
Seeing the community come together for a day of technical riding and spectator fun was a testament to how far the “Trax and Trails” family has come.
Today: As we stand today, Kabodhi has solidified itself as a go-to escape in the Western Cape. whether you are here to conquer the dust on a dirt bike or simply disconnect in nature.
Our brand-new Glamping units are officially open! We designed these for the riders traveling from afar who wish to extend a day trip into a full weekend of adventure. Now, you can stay right where the action is and maximize every minute of riding fun at Kabodhi.
To our Riders & Sponsors: Thank you for every tire track left behind and every sunset shared. You bring the energy that keeps this place alive.
To the team: Thank you for the hard work, from trail maintenance to ensuring every visitor feels like family.
